About Yoga
A Kripalu yoga class is a hatha yoga practice rooted in the deep inner stillness that arrives when the mind is at peace, the body relaxed and emotions in harmony.
Each class begins with centering and focusing on the breath. The class continues with gentle movements to bring awareness to the body and awaken it in preparation for the yoga postures. The heart of the class is the sequence of yoga poses that stretch, strengthen and balance the body. The class ends with deep relaxation and a brief meditation. Class lasts for one hour.
